Zhan is replacing Mark Flanders who is retiring after 35 years of public service, 30 of it with LSC.

COLUMBUS - Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) today announced that Douglas J. Swearingen, Jr. (R-Huron) was sworn in to serve as state representative to the 89^th House District, which covers both Erie and Ottawa counties. Representative Swearingen replaces Representative Steven Arndt (R-Port Clinton) who retired on July 31, 2019.
