COLUMBUS—State Representative Rick Perales (R-Beavercreek) introduced legislation yesterday to exempt military deployment orders from public records requests on public employees.  House Bill 423 is aimed to provide military families with the security, privacy and peace of mind they deserve while their family member serves away from home. The bill includes all armed forces including both Ohio National Guard and reservists.

DAYTON, Ohio – In honor of National Wright Brothers Day and the 112th anniversary of the Wright brothers taking flight, State Representative Rick Perales last week presented House Concurrent Resolution 8 during the National Aviation Heritage Alliance annual Wright Brothers Day commemoration. House Concurrent Resolution 8 repudiates Connecticut for its claim that the Wright Brothers were not the first to fly a powered, heavier-than-air machine.  Perales presented the resolution to Amanda Wright Lane and Stephen Wright, the great-grandniece and great-grandnephew of the Wright Brothers.
