Representative Tim Ginter is serving his fourth term as State Representative for the 5th Ohio House District, which encompasses all of Columbiana County. He has served previously as chair of the House Aging and Long-Term Care Committee and as chair of the House Community and Family Advancement Committee.
Representative Ginter has a broad background of work experience as a machinist, director of development, and vice-president of marketing with an IT company, and has been an ordained minister for 41 years during which time he has pastored five different churches. He received his education at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Nazarene Bible College.\
He is currently a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau, National Rifle Association, Buckeye Firearms Association, Salem Chamber of Commerce, an associate member of the Columbiana County Township Association, and a member of the Columbiana County Republican Party Central Committee.
Representative Ginter lives in Salem with his wife of 41 years, Pam. They have one daughter, Angie, who lives in North Carolina with her husband and their three grandchildren, Skyler, Tagg, and Zoe.
