Rep. Galonski announces start of open enrollment for healthcare coverage

State Rep. Tavia Galonski (D-Akron) today announced the start of the open enrollment period for healthcare coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The open enrollment period will run from Nov. 1 to Jan. 15, 2022, with coverage beginning Jan. 1, 2022. 

“There are so many Ohio families who could benefit from the help the Affordable Care Act offers. As we begin open enrollment, I am grateful to President Barack Obama for his vision of an America that offers each and every American affordable healthcare,” said Rep. Galonski. 

All US citizens or immigrants who are lawfully present in the U.S. are eligible to enroll in health coverage through the Marketplace.
