COLUMBUS – State Rep. Tavia Galonski (D-Akron) announced the State Controlling Board approved over $3.8 million to the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services to continue supporting operations for unemployment benefits. Over $800,000 will be used to help combat unemployment fraud while over $2.9 million will be used to support UFacts unemployment application process. This process was initially established to implement the federal Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program.
