State Rep. Tavia Galonski (D-Akron) today announced her appointment to the Ohio House Civil Justice, Criminal Justice and Higher Education committees for the 133rd General Assembly. She was also appointed as Co-Chair of the Ohio House Criminal Justice Sentencing Subcommittee.
“By listening to and learning from one another throughout the committee process, it is my hope lawmakers can ensure access to quality, affordable education, and pursue meaningful criminal justice reform.” said Galonski. “I look forward to working with my legislative colleagues to enact real change for the people of Ohio.”
Galonski represents Ohio’s 35th district, which is comprised of parts of Akron and Barberton.
