COLUMBUS – Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp today appointed Robert E. Sielschott of Lima to the state’s Small Business Advisory Council.
The council is a nine-member panel that advises on government rules and regulations and helps identify those that place unnecessary burdens on Ohio’s job creators.
“I am pleased to appoint a local small business owner to this council,” said Cupp. “Mr. Sielschott’s extensive business experience has served our region well, and I look forward to seeing his contributions to Ohio as a member of this council.”
Sielschott founded his own accounting firm in Lima in 1982. The company has grown to employ around 20 full-time staff and offers services in accounting, business and personal tax, payroll services, litigation support, estate services, investments, financial/retirement planning, and non-profit support.
The group plans to meet on Thursday.
