Loychik Announces Millions for Brownfield Remediation Projects Coming to Trumbull County

State Rep. Mike Loychik (R-Bazetta) announces Brownfield Remediation Program projects coming to Trumbull County. Loychik applauded the initiatives for the region.

“These important projects are going to help revamp and revitalize parts of our communities through clean-up and public works that will enhance future development in Trumbull County,” said Loychik.

  • Trumbull County Land Reutilization Corporation (Trumbull) at 200 West - $300,000
  • Trumbull County Land Reutilization Corporation (Trumbull) at Former Warren Gasification Plant - $1,173,434
  • Trumbull County Land Reutilization Corporation (Trumbull) at Niles GE Plant - $1,726,807
  • Trumbull County Land Reutilization Corporation (Trumbull) at New 999 Pine Ave. - $55,382

The funding for the Brownfield Remediation Program was provided through Loychik’s support for last year’s state operating budget, which passed in the General Assembly and was signed into law. The legislation included a total of $350 million for brownfield remediation.
