Board Approves Funds to the Brookfield Local School District in Trumbull County

COLUMBUS - The State Controlling Board has approved the release of $425,013.00 for a Corrective Action Grant, for the Brookfield Local School District, Trumbull County.

The State Controlling Board approved the Brookfield Local School Districts application for their participation in the Corrective Action Program to address defective or omitted work. 

This funding will be used to conduct the removal of undercut and shoring of load bearing walls. 

“I am pleased to see the State Controlling Board sending funds to Trumbull County to help provide our future generations with the best facilities to learn and grow,” said Loychik. 

The State Controlling Board will meet next on March 21.
