Board Approves $250,000.00 for Project in Newark, Ohio

COLUMBUS – State Representative Mark Fraizer (R-Newark) announced today that the State Controlling Board approved the release of $250,000.00 for a project at Ohio State University Newark.
The funds will be allocated to the Alford Science Center that will be opening in the fall semester of 2021. The funds will be used to purchase new laboratory equipment for students in STEM (science technology, engineering and mathematics) majors.
“We must continue to invest in our future generations and I am delighted to see The Ohio State University continuing to bolster its Newark campus with the help of state funding,” said Fraizer.
