COLUMBUS – State Rep. Mark Fraizer (R-Newark) announced today that the State Controlling Board approved the release of $1,456,577.00 for a renovation of Founders Hall. Founder Hall was the first building built at Ohio State University Newark and needs HVAC and plumbing renovations.
This funding will be used to update the building and help to bring Founders Hall up to the current code. Although some small renovations have been completed on the building, it needs a major renovation and these funds will help keep the building in use for years to come for students to enjoy.
“It is wonderful to see the State Controlling Board release these funds to renovate Founders Hall which will in turn help students obtain an ideal educational experience for years to come,” said Fraizer.
