COLUMBUS – State Rep. Jessica Miranda (D-Forest Park) Monday announced that the Controlling Board has approved the release of $7.8M to construct electric vehicle charging stations at 10 sites along Interstates 70-71 and Interstates 75-77. Charging stations built under this program will ensure that EV drivers have safe, comfortable, and convenient places to charge. Ohio has led the charge to initiate procurement as part of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program under President Joe Biden, becoming the first state in the nation to break ground on a National EV Infrastructure station.

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) announced today that House Bill (HB 35), the Scout’s Honor Law, has been signed into law by Governor Mike DeWine. This law eliminates the statute of limitations for victims of childhood sexual abuse participating in a bankruptcy settlement. This bill was crafted so that the survivors of abuse from the Boy Scouts of America may participate in the national bankruptcy settlement. Ohio survivors can now receive 100% of their settlement.
