Rep. Miranda applauds #Great28 businesses for earning Inclusion Grant
Today, Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park) applauded two businesses in the #Great28 for winning the JobsOhio Inclusion Grant, designed to provide financial support for eligible businesses owned by underrepresented populations across the state. Cincinnati’s Griffin Fire & Pipe LLC and Parks Electrical Services, LLC were among the businesses awarded this week as a part of the Inclusion Grant program.
“I’m proud of these local businesses that are more than deserving of this award as they are an essential part of our community here in the #Great28,” said Rep. Miranda. “Our small businesses deserve our support, and I appreciate JobsOhio for its commitment to uplifting minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses across the state.”
The Inclusion Grant will provide these businesses with $635,000 in grant funds to help cover eligible costs including investment in machinery and equipment, real estate investments, and training costs. More information on the program and its recipients can be viewed here.
