COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) has announced that State Representative Kyle Koehler (R-Springfield) has been appointed to serve on three Ohio House committees.
During the 132nd General Assembly, Koehler will serve on the following committees:
• Education & Career Readiness
• Agriculture & Rural Development
• Federalism & Interstate Relations
Rep. Koehler released the following statement:
“I am thankful to Speaker Rosenberger for the opportunity to continue serving on Education & Career Readiness Committee, Agriculture & Rural Development Committee but in a new role, and to begin serving on Federalism & Interstate Relations Committee.
“Education determines the future of our state. Whether it is traditional, charter, private, or home education, I am excited to discuss the direction and goals for our state and our children. I also look forward to discussing agricultural issues facing our state and working alongside Chairman Hill and Ohio farmers. In my new role on Federalism & Interstate Relations Committee, I appreciate the opportunity to consider bills to restore state rights to Ohio and fight back against federal government regulations.”
Koehler is serving his second term in the Ohio House. He represents the 79th District, which includes portions of Clark County.
