Born and raised in Norwood, State Representative Brigid Kelly represents Ohio’s 31st House District: Amberley, Clifton, Corryville, CUF, East Walnut Hills, Evanston, Madisonville, Norwood, Oakley, Silverton, St. Bernard, and parts of Avondale, Columbia Twp., Hyde Park, Mt. Auburn, Northside, and Walnut Hills.
Prior to her election to the Ohio House of Representatives, Representative Kelly served as Public Relations Director at United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) Local 75, representing over 30,000 members in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Today, she serves as Communications Director for UFCW Local 700 where she represents 13,000 members in the grocery and food processing industries.
As state representative, Brigid Kelly is focused on improving the lives of all Ohioans. She’s championed issues such as commonsense, affordable healthcare; ensured families have an opportunity to succeed; and protected Ohio’s emergency responders and frontline workers.
State Representative Kelly is a graduate of Saint Ursula Academy, Xavier University, and the University of Cincinnati. She was born and raised in Norwood and served on Norwood City Council.
