Cutrona Issues Statement for Local Drug Task Force Funding

State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) has issued the following statement for local drug task force funding announced for Mahoning County to support reducing drug use and provide substance abuse awareness and prevention:

“As many know, our state and the nation continue to struggle with rising numbers stemming from drug overdoses. I supported this funding in our state’s budget to ensure our local entities have the resources they need to combat the drug trade and provide additional assistance to residents suffering from other various mental health and substance abuse issues.”

The statement comes after it was announced the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force is set to receive $20,000 from the RecoveryOhio Law Enforcement Fund.
