Today, State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) was appointed by Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) to several House committees. Cutrona will now serve on the House committees for Criminal Justice, Health, and Agriculture and Rural Development.

“I would like to thank Speaker Householder for allowing me serve on these important and respected committees,” said Cutrona. “Given my background, these committees will allow me to draw from my experiences, which touches on all these areas. I look forward to having the opportunity to contribute to the discussions on key issues that affect everyday Ohioans that come before these committees.”

Pertaining to his experience, Cutrona has worked for years on his family’s cattle farm. He also works as an attorney and chief operating officer of the only infectious disease medical practice in the Tri-County area.

Since Cutrona was recently appointed to the 59th Ohio House seat, following the untimely death of Don Manning, he’s emphasized creating jobs and focusing on health infrastructure as some of his top priorities.
