Cutrona Appointed as Chair of House Health Provider Services Committee
State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) announces he has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill) as Chair of the House Health Provider Services Committee for the 135th General Assembly.
“I look forward to using my background and experience for Ohioans here in the Valley and across the state as we work to make improvements to the health care industry,” said Cutrona.
Currently, Cutrona holds a position as the Chief Operating Officer for a large tri-county infectious disease medical practice. The infectious disease medical practice covers Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana Counties. Additionally, he has held several other positions at law offices throughout his professional career.
“Ohio families are going to benefit with Representative Cutrona as Chair of the Health Provider Services Committee, and I look forward to seeing their progress as we pass important bills from this body during the 135th General Assembly,” said Speaker Stephens.
During the previous General Assembly, Cutrona served as Vice Chair of the Families, Aging and Human Services Committee and also was a member of the Health, Civil Justice, and Commerce and Labor Committees.
