COLUMBUS - 

State Representative Wes Retherford (R-Hamilton) today was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 130th General Assembly. He represents the 51st Ohio House District, which includes portions of southern Butler County.


“I feel very blessed that the people of 51st House District decided to have me serve them in the Ohio House of Representatives,” said Rep. Retherford. “I look forward to working with them and my colleagues to make Ohio a better place to live, work, and play.”


Representative Retherford is a lifelong resident of Butler County who served in the U.S. Marine Corps until 2004. He currently works as a mortician’s assistant at a Hamilton funeral home.


Representative Retherford lives with his wife and their two children in Hamilton.
