COLUMBUS—State Representative Wes Retherford (R-Hamilton) yesterday was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 132nd General Assembly. He represents the 51st Ohio House District, which includes the cities of Hamilton and Fairfield, Ross Township, and portions of Fairfield, Hanover, and St. Clair townships. This will be his third term as state representative.


“It is such an honor and privilege to serve in the People’s House,” Rep. Retherford said. “I look forward to representing the people of the 51st District throughout the next two years as we strive to make Ohio an even better place to live, work and raise a family.”


As a disabled, retired veteran, Representative Retherford has worked on various issues pertaining to those who have served in the military. Representative Retherford works as a mortician’s assistant at a Hamilton funeral home. He resides in Hamilton with his wife, Leann, and their children, Kaitlyn and Chance.

State Representative Wes Retherford (R-Hamilton) today was sworn in as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 130th General Assembly. He represents the 51st Ohio House District, which includes portions of southern Butler County.
