State Representative Wes Retherford (R-Hamilton) today spoke to members of Disabled American Veterans (DAV) as they held their state convention in Columbus.

“It was an honor and privilege to speak to my fellow DAV members,” Rep. Retherford said. “Their organization has made great strides in helping veterans who were injured in service to their country, and I was pleased to play a role in their state convention.”

The mission of Disabled American Veterans is to empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity, including advocating on their behalf, educating the public on their sacrifices, and ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them.

As a former member of the U.S. Marine Corps who was injured during training, Rep. Retherford continues to stay involved with issues regarding those who have served in the military.
