COLUMBUS -

State Representative Wes Retherford (R-Hamilton) presented a resolution on behalf of the Ohio House of Representatives to the Badin High School Girls Soccer Team during halftime of the high school’s girls’ basketball game January 13th. Rep. Retherford and Senator Bill Coley (R-Liberty Township) joined together to recognize the soccer team’s Division III State Championship.

The Lady Rams won the title by defeating Gates Mills Hawken during their November match. The game went into extra time with Badin winning through penalty kicks.

“Badin High School and its community should be extraordinarily proud of these girls,” Rep. Retherford said. “They persevered to the very end of their match and came away with a victory—one that is well deserved.”
