COLUMBUS – State Rep. Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) today applauded Southgate Corporation breaking ground on 33 Innovation Park, a speculative development in Marysville. The project has an investment of $8.9 million and is expected to be complete in Q4 2021.

“I am thrilled to support the ongoing 33 Innovation Park project in my district,” said Richardson. “This project will bring significant economic development to our communities and attract further investment in our region.”

The development will be comprised of 84,000 square feet of multi-tenant Class A industrial and R&D speculative space at 33 Innovation Park, as well as an adjacent pad-ready site that can accommodate a building of up to 112,000 square feet.

The project was made possible by the Ohio Site Inventory Program (OSIP), one of JobsOhio’s newest programs that offers grants and low-interest loans to support site and building developments with no identified end user.

“I am grateful for the effective partnership of JobsOhio, One Columbus, Union County, and Marysville that contributes to the success of this exciting development,” added Richardson. “I look forward to seeing the positive outcomes of their hard work.”
