COLUMBUS—Today, State Representative Tim Ginter (R-Salem) presented a resolution honoring Jared Wilson on winning the 2016 Division III State Championship in boys golf.

A junior at Columbiana High School, Wilson shot a 142 to secure the esteemed state championship title at NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury. His diligence and pursuit of excellence have established him as an exemplary athlete and leader both in and out of competition.  

“It was an absolute privilege to honor Jared with a resolution today,” said Ginter. “Jared is a tremendously talented golfer, but also a very dedicated student for which he should be commended. I believe that Jared has a very bright future ahead.”
