Columbus - 

State Representative Tim Ginter (R-Salem) was sworn in yesterday as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 132nd General Assembly. He represents the 5th Ohio House District, which comprises all of Columbiana County, for a second term.


“I am deeply honored that the great people of Columbiana County have entrusted me with the duty of representing them in Columbus for a second term,” said Rep. Ginter.


Representative Ginter has been an ordained minister for 36 years, during which time he has served at five different churches. He received his education at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Nazarene Bible College.


He also has work experience as a construction worker, factory laborer, and machinist, and went on to form his own consulting business, specializing in workforce development. Tim is a member of the National Rifle Association, Columbiana County Farm Bureau, Buckeye Firearms Association, Salem Chamber of Commerce, and an associate member of the Columbiana County Township Association. Additionally, Tim has served on numerous boards and commissions including the East Liverpool City Planning Committee.


Representative Ginter lives in Salem with his wife of 37 years, Pam. They have a daughter, Angie, and three grandchildren, Skyler, Tagg, and Zoe.
