COLUMBUS—State Representative Tim Ginter (R-Salem) was appointed to the Child Support Guideline Advisory Council. The Council reviews the state’s child support guidelines every four years to determine if child support orders are being issued within the guidelines, and that children’s needs are being met.

“To adequately care for our children is one of society’s greatest responsibilities. To be appointed to the council that reviews this support is both and honor and great responsibility. I am grateful for the appointment,” Ginter said.

During his 2019 State of the State Address, Governor Mike DeWine called for more investment in Ohio’s children and to better meet the needs of in-need children.

State Representative Tim Ginter is currently serving his third term as a state representative. He represents the 5th Ohio House District, which encompasses all of Columbiana County.
