COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) recently appointed Representative Tim Ginter (R-Salem) to the Ohio Commission on Fatherhood (OCF).

The Ohio Commission on Fatherhood was established by the legislature in 2000. Their mission is to provide opportunities for fathers to become better parents, partners, and providers, thereby improving the overall health and wellbeing of Ohio’s children. Through various programs, the OCF strives to improve economic stability, foster responsible parenting, and promote health relationships for fathers.

"In a day when families are facing incredible stress, the importance of the role of a father in a family cannot be overemphasized,” said Ginter. “I am honored to be chosen to serve on this very important commission."

Representative Tim Ginter is currently serving his second term as state representative for the 5th Ohio House District, which encompasses all of Columbiana County.
