Representative Tim Ginter is serving his third term as state representative for the 5th Ohio House District, which encompasses all of Columbiana County. He has served as chair of the Community and Family Advancement Committee, as well as chair of the Advisory Board of the Governor’s Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.

09.28.20 - Ginter's Legislation Increases Homestead Exemption For Spouses Of Fallen First Responders

 

State Rep. Tim Ginter (R-Salem) announces the General Assembly has advanced his legislation, House Bill 17, which allows an increased homestead exemption for a spouse of a fallen first responder who passes away in the line of duty. The bill will now head to the governor and awaits his signature.

State Rep. Tim Ginter (R-Salem) announces the General Assembly passed Senate Bill 163, which includes Ginter’s amendment correcting state law that cuts Local Government Fund (LGF) money in 2021 for Columbiana County communities. The legislation now heads to the governor.
