A lifelong resident of Central Ohio, Representative Tim Schaffer currently is serving his fourth non-consecutive term in the House of Representatives, serving the 77th House District, which encompasses most of Fairfield County.  Representative Schaffer's tenure in public office began when he was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives in 2000. After serving three terms he was elected to represent the 31st Ohio Senate District.

COLUMBUS— State Rep. Tim Schaffer (R-Lancaster) has announced that $5.6 million for the next phase of Buckeye Lake dam rehabilitation project has been approved by the State Controlling Board. The approved funding is the most recent in a series of incremented funding transfers for the project.

COLUMBUS— State Rep. Tim Schaffer (R-Lancaster) today announced that the Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC) has given conditional approval of significant state funding to the Lancaster City School District for the construction of two new middle schools for grades 6 to 8.
