State Rep. Tom Patton (R-Strongsville) announces the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a collaborative project between Union Home Mortgage in Strongsville and JobsOhio. The initiative will bring hundreds of new jobs to the area.

“Even during a pandemic, it’s great to see Strongsville staying competitive to bring jobs to our area,” said Patton. “I’m thankful to Union Home Mortgage and their work with JobsOhio to help create these positions that will give many some much-needed economic stability as we continue to face the challenges of COVID-19.”

The project was highly competitive with other states and includes the following for Union Home Mortgage:

•              450 new jobs; 245 retained jobs at their headquarters location in Strongsville

•              Nearly $30 million of new payroll associated with this project

JobsOhio, Team NEO, and Strongsville have been working collaboratively to win this project a job creation tax credit as it was approved at today’s meeting while JobsOhio is also directly supporting the project.

Union Home Mortgage develops staff scheduling software focused on employee scheduling for the long-term care and senior living industries.
