Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) has appointed State Representative Dr. Terry Johnson (R-McDermott) to serve on three House standing committees, including as chairman of the House Armed Services, Veterans Affairs and Public Safety Committee.

In addition, Rep. Johnson will serve on the Health and Aging Committee and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

“I am deeply honored to continue in my role as chairman of the Ohio House committee that is dedicated to our military members and veterans,” Johnson said. “I am excited about the expansion of scope of the committee to include public safety. I will continue to do all that I can to look after those who defend us and now I will also put a sharp eye toward the safety and security of all Ohioans.”

Johnson is serving his third term in the House. He represents the 90th District, which includes all of Scioto and Adams counties and part of Lawrence County.
