State Representative Steve Arndt (R-Port Clinton) hosted guests from the Allen-Clay Joint Fire District in the Ohio House of Representatives yesterday. Escorted by Fire Chief Denny Hartman, the guests, Lowell Hartman, 59 years of service, Ronald Cashen, 58 years of service, Jeff Cleary, 49 years of service, and Michael Best, 45 years of service, were recognized during the Ohio House session for their efforts in the fire department.

“It was great to recognize these men for their devoted service to their community,” Arndt said. “These individuals serve as an inspiration to everyone to get involved and give back to our neighbors, friends and families in the community.” 

Following the Ohio House session, Hartman, Cashen, Cleary and Best met with Arndt to share their experiences during their tenure.
