State Representative Steve Arndt (R-Port Clinton) today announced Cassidy Roginski as the 89th House District winner of the 2017 Ohio House of Representatives Student Art Exhibition.

Cassidy Roginski attends Woodmore High School in Elmore, and is taught by Jodi Pease.

“It is remarkable to see such great talent coming from all over Ohio and I am especially proud to see the artwork of Cassidy, from my alma mater, hang in the halls of the Riffe Tower,” Rep. Arndt said.

The exhibition is open to the public at the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in the lower level Statehouse connector through December 30, 2017.

The Ohio House of Representatives, Ohio Arts Council, and Ohio Art Education Association joined together for the second annual student exhibition, which showcases high school artwork from all 99 Ohio House districts.

The exhibition recognizes the talents, creativity, and innovation of students who receive high quality arts education instruction as part of their academic experience in school and represents art by some of Ohio's finest high school artists.

Students attended an award ceremony earlier this month at the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts to be recognized for their achievement.
