COLUMBUS—State Representative Steve Hambley (R-Brunswick) has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) to the Joint Education Oversight Committee (JEOC).

The JEOC was established to study and review relevant education policy issues as well as corresponding policy options. In addition, the committee may review and evaluate education programs and various entities that receive financial assistance from the state.

“I am honored to be appointed to the Joint Education Oversight Committee,” said Rep. Hambley. “I look forward to working with my fellow legislators to review education policy options to help better Ohio.”

The Joint Education Oversight Committee is made up of five state senators and five state representatives.
