State Representative Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) recently presented a resolution on the floor of the Ohio House honoring the Tri-Village High School boys basketball team for their Division IV state championship victory.

Under the leadership of Coach Josh Sagester, the Tri-Village defeated Canal Winchester Harvest Prep by a score of 48-46.

“Hosting the Tri-Village boys basketball team at the Statehouse was a great honor,” said Rep. Huffman. “By winning the state championship, this team demonstrated talent and determination worthy of recognition.”

Tri-Village finished the season with an impressive 30-0 record.

State Representative Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) today announced that a sales tax holiday will be held this weekend, an opportunity for parents to receive some tax relief during back-to-school shopping in preparation for the new school year which will also stimulate economic activity for Ohio’s retailers. This year’s sales tax holiday was established by the state operating budget, House Bill 49.
