COLUMBUS—State Representative Steve Huffman (R-Tipp City) hosted the University of Toledo baseball team yesterday at the Ohio Statehouse prior to their game against the Ohio State University in Columbus.

“I was honored to have the UT baseball team and Coach Mee here at the Statehouse,” said Rep. Huffman. “Their success is a testament to the excellent education and opportunities available to all students at the University of Toledo.”

Representative Huffman is a graduate of the University of Toledo, where he earned both his undergraduate degree and doctorate degree. He also played on the university’s football team from 1983-1987.

Rep. Huffman joined the team on a tour of the Statehouse and invited other legislators who are alumni of the institution for a photo opportunity in the House chambers.
