Today, State Representative Stephen Huffman (R-Tipp City) presented a resolution to the Troy High School girls bowling team, honoring them as the 2016 Division I State Champions.

“I think that it was great that this team came together in the state finals to finish off a great season,” said Rep. Huffman.  “They are a great example of teamwork and everybody working together.”
The Troy Trojans defeated the Beavercreek High School Beavers 3-1 in the state championship bowling match at Wayne Webb’s Columbus Bowl. Trojans bowler, Jenna Stone, rolled three strikes in the fourth game to win the title with a 204-202 scoring final match. This was the program’s first Division I state championship title, ending the Trojans’ season with an overall record of 17-2.

The Troy High School girls bowling team was present along with Coach Rob Dever to receive the resolution during the Ohio House session.
