State Rep. Sedrick Denson (D-Cincinnati) is a third generation Cincinnatian who has dedicated his entire career to empowering, leading and serving the citizens of Cincinnati. He currently represents Ohio’s 33rd House District.

State Rep. Sedrick Denson (D- Cincinnati) issued a statement today following the Supreme Court’s decision in the North Carolina and Maryland partisan gerrymandering cases. 

“The decision handed down by the United States Supreme Court was a disappointing one.  Regardless, it is now the responsibility of my general assembly colleagues and I to ensure that every single Ohioan’s vote counts equally.  It’s our duty to guarantee that our redistricting process is fair, transparent, and most importantly, accurate.  I remain committed to this endeavor and I look forward to working to provide an unbiased system to my constituents.”

05.23.19 - Denson, Dems Unveil Clean Energy Jobs Act As Controversial Corporate Bailout Clears Committee

 

House Democratic lawmakers today unveiled the Clean Energy Jobs Act, their proposal to protect existing jobs, grow new ones and invest in Ohio’s clean energy future. The announcement follows the latest changes to House Bill (HB) 6, which Republican lawmakers amended to bail out more corporations and all but eliminate energy efficiency and renewable energy standards in Ohio. The bill passed out of committee Thursday.
