COLUMBUS—State Representative Scott Oelslager (R – North Canton) announced yesterday that the Ohio Controlling Board has approved funds for the Village of Navarre for public roadwork improvements.

Roadwork Development Grants are awarded for public roadwork improvements that support the expansion or attraction of businesses.   The Village of Navarre was granted $712,000 in support of the Hendrickson USA, LLC project.

The project will consist of a 676-foot extension of Sterilite Drive South. The extension will provide access to Hendrickson USA, LLC’s project location and will also create a 20-acre, shovel ready site on the west side of Sterilite Dr. As a result of the project, 200 new, full-time-equivalent jobs will be created, and 235 full-time-equivalent jobs will be retained.
