COLUMBUS—State Representative Scott Oelslager (R – North Canton) announced today that the Ohio Controlling Board has approved the release of funds for Stark State College.

The Controlling Board approved a $693,465 appropriation to replace the roof on a building at Stark State’s North Canton campus. The roof has deteriorated beyond repair. The new roof will provide reduced maintenance costs.

The $143,333 will be used to buy meters, motors, line conditioning devices, controls trainers and related electrical laboratory equipment.
