Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) recently appointed State Representative Sarah LaTourette (R-Bainbridge Township) to serve on the House Agriculture and Rural Development Committee.


Additionally, Rep. LaTourette will serve on the Health and Aging Committee and the State Government Committee. 


“I am truly humbled to serve on committees that will enable me to be a strong advocate for the issues that matter in my district,” said Rep. LaTourette. “I appreciate Speaker Rosenberger’s confidence in my abilities and look forward to serving alongside my distinguished colleagues chairing these important committees.”


LaTourette is currently serving her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives.  She represents the 76th Ohio House District, which includes most of Geauga and northern Portage counties

Governor Signs Bipartisan Legislation To Improve Security Measures In Schools

Governor John Kasich today signed legislation to establish certain qualifications and training requirements for school resource officers (SROs). House Bill 318 also permits SROs to provide a specified range of services to the schools they serve.
