In Butler County, 80 Acres Urban Agriculture Inc. is expected to create 125 full-time positions while also generating $8 million in new annual payroll and retaining $1.74 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project. The company 80 Acres grows fruits and vegetables hydroponically.

“This is great news for the 51st District and Butler County,” said Representative Carruthers. “Investments like these build upon the positive momentum we are seeing in our community. Our strong economy continues to create jobs and opportunities for Ohioans.”

The 12 projects in total will generate investments upwards of $705 million in Ohio. Additionally, the projects will add $153 million in payroll.
