State Representative Ryan Smith (R-Bidwell) praised the announcement of new jobs coming to Gallia County.


This week the Ohio Tax Credit Authority, ElectroCraft Ohio committed to create 30 new full-time jobs at their Gallia County location in Green Township. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 0.704 percent, five-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.


“I was pleased to learn that ElectroCraft would be adding new jobs and investing in their Gallia County facility,” said Smith. “ElectroCraft’s continued commitment to this facility shows that southern Ohio is a great place to do business. This announcement and several others demonstrate positive signs for manufacturing in southern Ohio.”
