COLUMBUS—State Representative Bob Cupp (R-Lima) today presented a resolution from the Ohio House of Representatives honoring Terri Kohlrieser of Allen County as the 2017 Ohio Outstanding Assistant Prosecutor of the Year.

The award is bestowed by the Ohio Prosecuting Attorney’s Association to just one assistant prosecutor in the state each year. It is presented to an assistant prosecutor who has been nominated for distinguishing him or herself with outstanding dedication to the position and to the criminal justice system.

“It is an honor to be able to present this resolution to Terri in honor of the award she earned through hard work and perseverance, “said Representative Cupp. “I am well acquainted with the quality of her legal work as a judiciary attorney from when I served on the 3rd District Court of Appeals. This award demonstrates that she has continued to serve with great distinction in her role as Allen County Assistant Prosecutor.”

Kohlrieser has been an Allen County Assistant Prosecutor for seven years, and this is her first nomination. Kohlrieser attributed the award to her strong empathy for victims and determination to pursue justice in crimes against children.

Rep. Cupp presented House Resolution 344 honoring Kohlrieser during this week’s House session, alongside her husband Todd and Allen County Prosecutor Juergen Waldick.
