Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) has appointed State Representative Rob McColley (R-Napoleon) to serve on three House standing committees.

During the 131st General Assembly, McColley will serve on the following committees: Ways and Means; Judiciary; and Government Accountability and Oversight.

“Strengthening Ohio’s economy by creating an environment to foster job creation and growth is critical to the success of our state,” McColley said. “I look forward to serving on committees that will allow me to have a meaningful impact on legislation that will improve the future of Ohio and the 81st House District.”

McColley graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Law. Most recently, he served in the Community Improvement Corporation of Henry County, where he worked to improve economic development efforts between manufacturers and schools in Henry and Williams counties.

Beginning his first term in the House, McColley represents the 81st District, which includes Putnam, Henry and Williams counties, as well as part of Fulton County.
