State Representative Robert McColley (R-Napoleon) today met with a group of fifth graders from the 81st House District at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.

The group, from St. Anthony of Padua School in Columbus Grove, had the opportunity to tour the Statehouse in order to learn more about Ohio history and state government. Rep. McColley spoke with students on the floor of the House of Representatives about his role as a legislator.

“It was my honor to welcome the students of St. Anthony School to the Ohio Statehouse,” Rep. McColley said.  “I think it is very important  for youth to become engaged with the legislative process and it was great to see how enthusiastic the children were to hear about their government.”
