Today, Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) appointed Rep. Rick Carfagna (R-Genoa Township) to serve as vice chair of the House Public Utilities Committee.

“This is an extraordinary honor and responsibility, and I’m grateful to Speaker Rosenberger for placing his trust in my abilities,” Carfagna said. “Public utilities impact all aspects of our lives, and I am committed to working with my colleagues to shape policies that will provide stability and predictability for all Ohioans.”

Carfagna is beginning his first term in the House. He represents the 68th District, which includes Knox County and the eastern portion of Delaware County. Prior to becoming a member of the legislature, Carfagna served as a Trustee of Genoa Township.
