COLUMBUS—Speaker of the Ohio House Clifford A. Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) today released a statement regarding the death of former Congressman Ralph Regula:

“Ralph Regula fulfilled the definition of public servant in every sense of the term. During his nearly four decades in Congress, he served his constituents with the kind of down-to-earth humility and integrity that helped him work with both sides of the aisle to do what he felt was best for Ohio and the nation.

“Ohio has lost a great man, but his spirit, and the example he set for all of us, will live on for generations to come. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
