State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) today announced a town hall meeting on September 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Walton Hills Event Center to discuss the state budget, bipartisan priorities, other legislative updates and a number of recent Democratic-led wins for working people and families in House district 6.

“We had such great overall success with town halls in August that I felt it was important to give more opportunities for district 6 constituents to meet me and ask me questions if they could not attend the previous town halls,” said Rep. Robinson. “All elected officials must do their best to engage with people in order for democracy to work at its best.”

The event will provide constituents with a legislative update, as well as an open forum to ask questions and identify community concerns that can be addressed through state government.

The town hall is part of Democrats’ statewide Ohio Promise Town Hall Tour, a legislative town hall series following the unveiling of the Ohio Promise, a legislative framework aimed at expanding opportunity by investing in Ohio’s future and building an economy that works for everyone.

Rep. Robinson held town halls in the communities of Solon, Lyndhurst, Chagrin Falls and Brecksville between August 13 and August 22. Over 120 constituents attended all four town halls.
