08.29.19 - Rep. Hicks-Hudson, Toledo Officials Speak Out On Sept. Municipal Election, Next Week's Voter Purge

 

State Rep. Paula Hicks-Hudson (D-Toledo) joined Toledo City Councilman Larry Sykes, Rev. James Willis of St. Paul Baptist Church in Toledo, and Anita Madison from the Toledo NAACP for a press conference Tuesday at the Lucas County Early Vote Center,where early voting for the Sept. 10 municipal election is currently underway.

 
 

08.20.19 - Hicks-Hudson Issues Letter On New Early Vote Procedures

 

State Rep. Paula Hicks-Hudson (D-Toledo) today sent a letter to Board Members at the Lucas County Board of Elections to urge training of election officials and poll workers on new procedures for early voting that began earlier this year. Early voters now have the option to present Election Day-style voter identification or provide the last four digits of their Social Security Number.

State Rep. Paula Hicks-Hudson (D-Toledo) today held a community town hall as part of the Ohio Promise Town Hall Tour, a statewide legislative town hall series hosted by House Democratic members. The purpose of the tour is to hear from constituents in their districts about their most pressing concerns, answer questions, and discuss the state budget, bipartisan priorities and a number of recent Democratic-led, legislative wins for working people and families.

“The only way we can continue to see positive change and progress is by working together,” said Rep. Hicks-Hudson. “Part of House Democrat’s Ohio promise is ensuring that as elected officials, we work for you. I’m always happy to meet and discuss important statewide and local issues with my constituents.”

 
 

08.13.19 - Rep. Hicks-Hudson Announces Ohio Promise Town Hall

 

State Rep. Paula Hicks-Hudson (D-Toledo) today announced a town hall meeting on August 15 at 6:00 p.m. at St Paul Missionary Baptist Church to discuss the state budget, bipartisan priorities and a number of recent Democratic-led wins for working people and families in Toledo.

“I am looking forward to sharing important information regarding legislative activities from the Statehouse in Columbus,” said Rep. Hicks-Hudson. “Informed citizens help make our government better.”
